Academy Center of the Arts

The Academy's annual gala is their biggest fundraiser of the year, and their 2025 edition marked a milestone: 120 years of bringing arts to Lynchburg. A film built to hold the weight of that milestone.

The film wove together the Academy's history, its artists, and the next generation it's building, directly supporting their 2025 fundraising goals.

Agria
Brand Film / Agriculture

Agria

Agria grows chemical-free produce to support healthier lives. They needed media that could communicate their mission to investors and partners, while keeping their proprietary farming practices under wraps. We produced a concise investor pitch video, social media content, and brand photography built to open doors. Preview only. Full version under NDA.

The video is actively being used to secure investors and partnerships, and it's working.

Harvest Financial

An investor film, fast, built entirely from scratch. It introduced the founders, articulated the problem they solve, and presented Harvest as the solution. We visualized the concept through grain seeds, kept the tone dynamic, personal, and completely un-corporate.

Shown at a live investor event. Harvest secured $500,000 in investment.

Arc Aid Festival

The Arc of Central Virginia supports adults with special needs, Arc Aid is how they raise the funds to do it. They needed a film that sold the festival and told the Arc's mission. We filmed across multiple days, captured the energy of the event, and followed a real person whose life the Arc has changed.

One shoot. Three deliverables: a festival promo, social media campaigns, and a highlight reel used year-round for fundraising.

Your questions,

Every project starts with a no-obligation intro call to hear your vision and see if we're the right fit. From there: proposal, pre-production, filming, editing with two rounds of revisions, and final delivery in every format you need. You own everything.
Most projects range from $3,500 to $20,000 depending on scope, crew size, shoot days, and deliverables. We give you a clear itemized proposal before anything is signed. No surprises.
A typical brand film takes 3 to 6 weeks from kick-off to delivery. Rush timelines are possible. We've delivered investor films in under two weeks. We'll always be upfront about what's realistic.
Yes. We work regularly across Virginia including Richmond, Roanoke, and Charlottesville. Travel costs are included in your proposal upfront.
That's what the first call is for. We've helped many clients who came in with just a vague idea and left with a clear creative direction. You don't need to have it figured out before reaching out.

Levi Templeton

Levi studied Business Marketing at Liberty University, but it was repairing and reselling damaged cameras that led him to filmmaking. Since then he's filmed events for PepsiCo, shot feature-length films in California, and produced live interactive nature art film projection events. Born and raised in Lynchburg, he founded 434 Visuals with a simple belief: this city deserves world-class production, and he wasn't going to wait for someone else to bring it. Outside the camera, he's most likely on a trail somewhere, hiking and camping are how he recharges.

Grant Knaus

Grant Knaus

Grant grew up in Lynchburg and graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Business Marketing. He spent his post-college years on professional film sets as a First AC, learning the full mechanics of production from the ground up. That foundation now drives his focus on documentary filmmaking for companies and nonprofits, work that requires both technical precision and the ability to earn a subject's trust. At home, he's a husband, a father of two, and an enthusiastic beekeeper.

Sara Tanjala
Creative Director
Sara Tanjala

Born in Romania and raised in the US from age seven, Sara brings a deeply cross-cultural creative eye to every project. As Creative Director she works alongside the director and DP to ensure every visual element, color, texture, tone, energy, is pulling in the same direction. Her practice spans painting, photography, video, and custom jewelry making, and that range shows in how she approaches a set: everything is considered, nothing is accidental.

Bryce Leffew

Bryce grew up in Virginia after an early childhood in Florida, and his résumé reads like a VFX wishlist: VFX Data Wrangler and Technician on The Penguin, Goosebumps, and Happy Gilmore 2. At 434 he channels that technical range into editing and post-production, the place where everything shot on set becomes the story. When he's not in the timeline he's making music, building in Blender, or finding new ways to push what software can do.
